Keep Your Hair Extensions Healthy & Beautiful ✨

Touch-Ups & Timing

    •    Extensions last 6–8 weeks before needing a touch-up.
    •    Application time: 30–60 minutes for tape-in, 1.5–2 hours for machine-tied wefts.
    •    After eight weeks, you may feel scalp pressure or irritation. Leaving them in longer increases the risk of hair breakage.

Brushing Tips

    •    Hair is weakest when wet — apply detangler, leave-in conditioner, or oil before brushing.
    •    Always use the extension brush your stylist recommends.
    •    Start from the bottom, working up to prevent tangles and breakage.
    •    Pat dry with a towel instead of rubbing to avoid matting.
    •    Avoid blow-drying when possible; if needed, never blow-dry upside down.

Shampooing & Conditioning
    •    Use sulfate-free shampoo and conditioner to prevent drying out extensions.
    •    Apply conditioner mid-shaft to ends only; avoid tape or scalp.
    •    Shampoo method:
    1.    Brush dry hair before washing.
    2.    Wet and section hair.
    3.    Apply shampoo with fingertips, gliding over scalp and top of extensions.
    4.    Rinse and repeat section by section.
    •    After washing, blow-dry gently if necessary, never upside down.

Sleeping & Styling
    •    Sleep with hair in a braid or low ponytail to prevent movement and tangling.
    •    Minimize heat styling and use a heat protectant when needed.
